FOR TOURISM AND GROWTH (REGROW)’- LOAN No. IDA-61430

REINFORCEMENT & PAINTING OF 32 PA’s REGROW VEHICLES

1. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank
   toward the cost of the Resilient Natural Resources Management for Tourism and Growth
   (REGROW)’, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for
   Reinforcement & Painting of 32 PA’s REGROW Vehicles.
2. . The Trustees of Tanzania National Parks now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Reinforcement & Painting of 32 PA’s REGROW Vehicles.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers -“
   Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting
   Services Fourth Edition November 2020 (Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible
   Bidders (or only to prequalified Bidders as the case may be) as defined in the Procurement
   Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information through TANEPS (www.taneps.go.tz
   ) and or at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, e-mail [email protected] &
   [email protected] from 08:00 to 16:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays at the address given below. Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit which will be held on 23rd-25th February 2023 at 10:00 Hours at Ruaha, Udzungwa, Mikumi and Nyerere National Parks Offices respectively. The minutes of the pre-bid meeting will be shared with all bidders. The costs of attending the pre-bid meeting and site visit will be borne by the bidders.
5. The bidding document in English language may be downloaded by any registered bid
   https://www.taneps.go.tz. Interested bidders have to necessarily register themselves to participate in the bidding under this bid. It shall be the sole responsibility of the interested bidders to get themselves registered at the aforesaid website and apprise themselves adequately regarding all the relevant procedures and provisions related to uploading and submit of the bids on the aforesaid website. The Bidders shall fill up all information as instructed. Bidders shall download all forms and fill up as instructed. The filled-up forms/pages shall then scanned and uploaded on the TANEPS along with the scanned copies of the supporting documer
6. The Bidders shall submit their bids electronically through TANEPS – https://www.taneps.tz
   before the cut-off date and time for submission. Detailed guidelines for viewing Bidding
   Documents, responses to clarifications and amendments and for online submission are given the website: https://www.taneps.go.tz.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration
