INVITATION FOR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE ROADS AND FUEL TOLLS
ACT, CAP. 220 AND ITS REGULATIONS
The Roads Fund and its Board were established through the Road and Fuel
Tolls Act, CAP 220 with the main purpose of ensuring sustainable availability of funds to finance road maintenance and monitor utilization of the funds. Since the establishment, there have been changes in matters related to legal and institutional frameworks that have necessitated need to amend the Act and its Regulations. The review of the Act and its Regulations is in progress and proposed amendments have been prepared.
The general public is invited to comment on the proposed amendments, the proposed amendments can be found from the Board website: https//www.roadsfund.go.tz
