INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN THE PROVISION OF AIR TRAVEL AGENCY SERVICES TO SANDVIK MINING & CONSTRUCTION TANZANIA LTD
Sandvik Mining and Construction Tanzania Limited (THE COMPANY) is located in Mwanza, on the edge of Lake Victoria. The purpose of this EOI is to explore the market for service providers that possess the requisite skills, knowledge and capacity to provide the required booking of flights and issuing of airline tickets for Sandvik travellers, WITH supporting invoices from Airlines.
Mandatory Pre-Qualification Criteria
1. At least two active air travel agency services contracts from a reputable organization.
2. Minimum of S5years’ experience of providing air travel service to local communities, or foreign companies, including embassies in Tanzania.
3. Compliant with Local Content Regulations.
4. Compliant with all National labour Laws and Regulations
5. Compliant with all required Permits, Certifications and Licenses
6. Insurance Cover
7. Provide financial statements for the previous/past two financial year.
8. Provide affiliated membership and duly registered proof with the relevant air travel agency service authorities. i.e
International Air Transport Association (IATA) etc Scope of Work
The air travel Agent will be required to:
1. Design a tool and/or platform for on-line booking service covering ticketing and conference booking
2. Be on standby 24/7 to resolve travel issues, complaints, and refund as and when they arise from the client
3. Provide 24/7 services to the client
4. Be in position to provide alternative arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip to the client.
