INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE SUPPLY OF A MINIMUM 1,000HP OILFIELD ONSHORE DRILLING RIG AND CREW

INTRODUCTION

Rocket Tanzania Limited (RTL) (“The company”) is preparing to drill 2 exploration wells to measured depths of approximately 2,000m In the Lake Rukwa area of western Tanzania. with a planned commencement in Q3 2023.

RTL is inviting the interest of eligible suppliers to submit an Expression of Interest for the above mentioned program.

NB: Documents requested below must be submitted when expressing Interest In this work. Qualified candidates will be subjected to the RTL vetting process.

Prequalification Requirements-Legal

1. Company Profile
2. Copy Incorporation Certificate
3. Copy of valid Tax Clearance Certificate
4. Copy of the current BRELA Search Report
5. Copy of Company Memorandum and Article of Association
6. Copy of the latest BRELA Annual Return
7. Copy of TIC Certificate and VRN
8. Copy of the current Business License
9. Compliance with the Mining (Local Content) Regulation, 2018 by having a Local content plan-Approved by the Mining Commission.

Prequalification Requirements- Financial Position and Terms of Trade

1. Audited & Certified Financial Statements (20202021)
2. At least] reference from the applicant’s banker regarding the supplier’s credit position

Prequalification Requirements-Safety and environmental management systems.

a)Osha Compliance Certificate

b) Workers Compensation fund Certificates

c) Environmental Management plan/ Program/ Policy

d) Health and safety Program

Prequalification Requirements-Technical Criteria

1. Technical support letter of capability
2. Experience in oil & gas exploration programs previously as evidenced by history and references
3. Safety Performance history of an entity that has provided services to oil & gas exploration programs di Operational performance history of an entity that has provided services to oil & gas exploration programs
4. The ability to provide equipment and services in the timeframe to be advised by the Company
5. The ability to provide equipment that meets MIR gas Industry standards
6. The ability to provide personnel with the requisite experience for working In oil & gas drilling operations.
