INVITATION FOR PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT SURVEY FOR EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR AWARD (EYA) 2021
The Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) is pleased to announce that preparations for EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2021 have started. The Survey exercise leading to awarding the best employers with outstanding International human resources management, is expected to take Six (6) Months and actual Awarded ceremony scheduled for early December 2021.
The Employer of the Year Award (EYA) is a major activity initiated and carried annually by ATE since 2005. Its purpose is to uplift human capital and human resources to make them play their lead role in business performance. Through EYA therefore, ATE seeks to promote, sensitize. and ultimately award organisations which put people at the core of their business and have implemented policies, systems and processes that create and sustain enterprise competitiveness, productivity improvement alongside industrial peace and harmony.
EYA did not take place in 2020 due to COVID-19, however ATE, used that opportunity to carry out major review on the criteria, categories and the entire process of awarding best Employers based on the current international best practices in Human Resources Management considering the workplace practices during the pandemic. With COVID-19, ATE will observe all the necessary COVID-19 precautions and public health advise to proceed with EYA 2021.
The Secretariat will outsource capable firms/ individuals with requisites experience in undertaking Surveys similar to Employer of the Year Award. The following, are some of the Terms of References: –
1. Project set-up and initialization
2. Data Collection from participating, Employers
3. Analysing and interpreting Survey findings
4. Carrying, out verifications on Surveyed employers
5. Compiling lists of Survey winners in accordance with set criteria
6 Finalization and presentation of survey findings at the Award Day
7. Feedback Report to Participating, Organisations that contain reasons why the winners won
8. Post Survey presentation at breakfast feedback Seminar.
Prospective bidders are hereby requested to submit their Proposals completed with their CVs and track record on past experiences in handling similar assignments. Excellent background in Human Resources Management and Business Advisory in a prerequisite. The deadline for applying is Friday 28th May 2021.
