INVITATION FOR TENDERS
1.This invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared on the authority website www.tanepsgatz
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of Arusha Branch during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for supply of machinery, and equipment and office furniture.
3. The Bank now invites sealed bids from bidders as follows:
· Tender No. PA/082/2019-20/AR/G/84 for supply of machinery and equipment to the Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch along Makongoro Road in Arusha City Plot No 09.
· Tender No. PA/082/2019-20/AR/G/84 for supply of office furniture to the Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch along Makongoro Road in Arusha City Plot No 09.
4. Bidder may bid for one tender, more than one tender or all tenders and the tendering procedure and award shall be on the basis of each tender.
5. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is Open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
6. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Branch Delegated Tender Board, Bank of Tanzania-Arusha Branch, P. O. Box 3043, Arusha, Plot No. 9, Makongoro Road, 15t Floor Room No. 348 from 0830 1230hours and 1400 1530 hours on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
7. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00 Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Tender Application Fee, Account Number: 992 4DA ARS or Banker‘s Cheque, payable to Bank of Tanzania.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration in the format provided in the bidding documents.
9. All Tenders in one original plus one copy, properly f1lled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked Tender number and must be delivered to the address given in paragraph 5 above at or before on 18th October 2019 at 1500 hours.
9. The deadline for submission of the bids is on Friday 18th October 2019 at 1500 hours. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch Offices, Second floor Boardroom No. 53.
10. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
