INVITATION FOR TENDER
- DAWASA has a set aside fund for the operation during the financial year 2019-2020. Its intends that part o the proceed of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the development of Kimbiji Water Project. Lot 1 Supply and installation of subermisible pumps to be installed 7 boreholes, 3 booster pumps for pumping water from sump tank to reservoir and supply and installation of collector pipes from individual boreholes to sump tank at Kimbiji well fields
- DAWASA now invites sealed tender form eligible civil and or specialist water supply contractors in class III and above with the contractors Registration board and eligible for carrying out above works at Kimbiji well fields whose scope of works are presented below
2.1 Survey and investigation
- Carrying out a detailed topographical survey for approximately 14.2 Km of collector pipe lines routes from individual boreholes to sump tank
- Measuring residual pressure and conduct hydraulic design of the proposed collector system
2.2 Supply and installation of pumps - Supply , installation, testing and commissioning of clean water submersible pump set conforming to relevant ISO standards and specification
2.3 Electrical power supply
Supply erection, testing and commissioning of 200 kVA 11 Kv, 50 Hz transformer as per specification complete with change over switch for each boreholes and boosting station transformer shall be installed as per the TANESCO guidelines and power distribution
2.4 Construction of Guard House compound wall with gate land scaping etc
3. Tendering will be conducted through national competitive procedures specification in the public procurement regulation 2013-government notice no 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all tenders as defined in the regulations
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the office of the Secretary DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building Dunga/Mlanga street opposite to Mwananyaamala Hospital P.O. BOX 1573 DSM from 8:00 – 16:00 hrs Monday – Friday except on public holidays
5. A complete set of bidding document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested and eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above upon payment of non-refundable fee of TSH 200,000 FROM 08:00 – 16:00 HRS local time on Monday – Friday except on public holidays. Interested tenders shall obtain control number at DAWASA Office Sokoine Drive(Gerezan) nearby water front building
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in an acceptable form in the amount specified in the bid document
7. All bids in one original plus 2 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below clearly marked tender for development of kimbiji water project and bid number AE/033/2019-2020/W/27/ LOT 1 at DAWASA building at or before 10:00 HRS 3rd June 2020 bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at the DAWASA boardroom Dawasa Building, Dunga/Malanga street opposite Mwananyamal Hospital DSM
8. LATE BIDS, PORTION of bids, electronic bids, bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
