Desludging and transporting of Dry Sludge from Facultative Pond No 1 at Buguruni Wastewater Stabilization Ponds

1. This invitation tenders follows the general procurement notice this project which appeared in the Guardian Issue no 6726 dated 31 May 2019
2. The government of Tanzania has a set aside fund for the operation of the DAWASA during the financial year 2019-2020.  It is intend that part of the proceed of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Desludging and transporting of Dry Sludge from Facultative Pond No 1 at Buguruni Wastewater Stabilization Ponds
3. DAWASA invite the sealed tenders from eligible  civil engineering or building contractors registered or capable of being registered in class 6 and above with the contractors registration board are eligible for carry out  the works  under this contract include Desludging and transporting of Dry Sludge from Facultative Pond No 1 at Buguruni Wastewater Stabilization Ponds
4. Tendering will be conducted though national competitive tendering method procedure specified in the procurement regulation 2013 and its amendment of 2016 – government notice no 446 and is open to all tenders as defined in the regulation unless otherwise stated in the tender data sheet
5. Interested tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the office of the secretary DAWASA Tender Board and dunga /Malanga  Street( Opp Mwanayamala Hospital) P.O. BOX 1573 DMS from 8:00 am – to 16:00 hrs on MONDAY – FRIDAY Inclusive except public holidays
6. A complete of set of tendering documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tender on the submission of written application to the address given under the paragraph 5 above  and upon payment of non-refundable fee of TZS 50,000 payment should be dne by cash banker, draft or bankers cheque or telegraphic transfer to chief executive officer account  name DAWASA account number 01I1021921900 CRDB Bank  Plc, Tower branch DSM Swift code COURTZTZ. The document will be delivered upon payment by or requested through courier on bidders account
7. All tenders must be accompanied by tender suturing declaration in the format provided in the tendering document unless otherwise stated in the tender data sheet
8. All tenders in 1 original plus 1 copy properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be deliver to the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board dunga /Malanga sreet opposite Mwananyamala Hospital P.O. BOX 1573 DSM at or before 10:00 8^th April 2020
9. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public in the presence of tenders representatives who choose to attend  in the opening at the DAWASA BOARDROOM DAWASA OFFICE C
10. Late tenders portion tenders, electronic tenders and tenders not received, tenders not opened at the opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
