IDENTIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR THE SUPPLY OF GODS AND PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR THE FY 2020/2021
The Walter Reed Program Tanzania is a collaboration effort supporting PEPFAR – Funded HIV prevention and treatment activities in the Southern Highlands and within the Tanzania Peoples defenses forces, HJF Medical Research International Tanzania is a local non-profit that has supported these effort since 2004 for the Walter reed army institute of research, PEPFAR activities are conducted in close collaboration with the Tanzania Ministry of Health and the president’s Office Regional Administration and local government through the Regional and council Health management teams
HJFMRI Tanzania provides care and treatment to people affected by HIV/AIDS and has been actively innovated in HIV &AIDS programming providing resources personnel and services to the southern highlands zone the program has expected from supporting the Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital to becoming a hub of antiretroviral treatment in the Zone to community support through decentralized services with the overall objectives of implementing research , clinical, HIV prevention care and treatment services. HJFMRI currently focuses specific on four regions in the southern Higlands namely Mbeya, Rukwa, Katavi and Songwe and support TPDF to implement comprehensive HIV prevention care and treatment program in 21 sites through the country
- HJFMRI – T intends to identify competent and reliable suppliers/services providers who will be invite to submit their bids as and when the needed arises to carry out various services or supply of goods as indicated in the table below in Mbeya, Rukwa, Katavi Songwe, Ruvuma & Dar es Salaam Region, suppliers from any part of Tanzania are eligible to participate in this suppliers identification exercise

- Interested eligible applicants may collect or request a complete set of identifications of qualified vendor’s document at HJFMRI –T Mbeya Monday to Thursday from 8:00- 5:00 Friday from 8; 00- 12:00 except public holidays or request through the email address given above
- Applicants for identifications of qualified vendors in original plus 3 copies should be submitted in plain envelopes clearly marked CATEGORY NO ………… FOR THE SUPPLY/PROVISION OF …… NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 14:00 17TH September 2020 should be addressed to the Executive Director, HJFMRI-T, Plot No 14A Block O Uhindini Street P.O. - Telegraphic, telex, telefax and non telegraphic will not accepted, application for identification of qualified vendors not received and received after the deadline shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
- HJFMRI-T reserve the right to reject any or all bids to wave any defect or information and assume no obligations whatsoever to compensate indemnity to the bidders for any expenses that they have expressed their interest by responding to this invitation
