INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Iringa Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2019/2020. it Is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for supply of goods, provision of services and execution of works.
Iringa Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority now invites sealed tenders from eligible national suppliers of goods, service providers and contractors of works as indicated In the following table:
Tendering will be conducted through the method of procurement procedure specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013Government Notice No 446 as indicated under paragraph 2 above and Is open to all Tenderers as defined In the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Tender Board Secretary, IRUWASA, Uhuru Avenue, P. O. Box 570, lringa from 9:00-15:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as indicated under paragraph 2 above. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft. or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Managing Director, lringa Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority through CRDB BANK Account No. 01J1070434500.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Tender Board Secretary, IRUWASA, Uhuru Avenue, Plot No. 102, Block 18. Wiiolesi, Procurement & Supplies Office Room No. 21, P. O. Box 570,1ringa.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the time, date and place indicated in clause 2 above.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in Public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances;
