Since 1999 has worked with the Tanzania Ministry of Health office regional and local government development partners, health experts and community leaders to improve health outcomes in maternal newborn and child health HIV/AIDS Gender-Based Violence, Cervical Cancer Prevention, Integrated Management of Childhood Illness, malaria and Family Planning as well as pre-service education, infection prevention and control and training of community health workers
Lead by JHPIEGO and funded by the USA agency for international development US. Presidents malaria Initiative the USAID Boresha Afya projects working to improve the health status of all TANZANIA WITH an emphasize on women and children in targeted regions by improving the availability of and access to high quality respectful and intergraded health services. The project focuses on reproductive maternal newborn and children outcomes and is implementation in total of 1,823 Health facilities in selected district of Zanzibar and 7 regions of the lake and Western conez(Geita, Kagera, Kigoma, Mara, Mwanza, Simiyu and Shinyanga)
JHPIEGO Tanzania office is now seeking to engage a firm for development of MSDQI EDS-DHIS2 interactive dashboard and updating malaria checklist of Zanzibar Malaria elimination program
