Invitation for Bids No.AE/O38/2019/2020/G/01-04 For Supply of various Goods Using Framework Contracts
This invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the PPRA Journal Issue no.1821-6021; Vol. IX–No.21 dated 23rd July, 2019.
Morogoro Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (MORUWASA) has set aside enough funds for the operations of the Authority during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contracts for the supply of Various Goods.
The Morogoro Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (MORUWASA) MORUWASA) now invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of goods as listed below:
Tenderer may tender for single lot or all lots. Tenderer not quoting for all quantities in each tender will be considered non-responsive and their Tenders will be rejected. The Purchaser shall evaluate the Tenders and award the contract(s) to the most economical Tender; Tenderer will not be awarded more than two tenders/Lots.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations,2013 -Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary to the MORUWASA Tender Board, Mazimbu Road, P. O. Box 5476, Morogoro town, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on Public Holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs.100, 000/: (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Chaque, payable to the Managing Director, Morogoro Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority, P.O. Box 5476, Morogoro.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked “Name, description and identification number of the bid you are applied for “must be delivered to the address; The Secretary to the Tender Board, Morogoro Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (MORUWASA), P. O. Box 5476, Morogoro at or before 10.00 am Local Time, on Tuesday 17th September, 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at their own costs in the opening place at the PMU Office, MORUWASA, Mazimbu Road nearly to GPSA, TEMESA & TANROADS offices, Morogoro Municipality.
Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
