MUHIMBILI ORTHOPAEDIC INSTITUTE (MOI)
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the mentioned below projects.
The Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute now invites sealed bids from eligible Service providers /Suppliers to bid the following bids.
Bidding will be conducted through the above schedule procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No 446 and are open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary to MOI Tender Board ,Procurement Management Unit, First Floor, Room No. 239 , P. 0 .Box 65474, Dar-es-Salaam, from 8.00 a. m . to 3:30 p. m on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tzs 100,000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings One hundreds thousands only). Payment should be in Cash, payable to Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute Cash Office.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration Form in an acceptable form provided in the bidding documents.
All bids in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below The Secretary to MOI Institute, Tender Board, P.O. Box 65474, Dar Es Salaam at or before as per the above submission dates at 11.00 am hours. local time. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Muhimbili orthopaedic Institute, MOI Conference Hall, Ground floor, Room No 133.
Late bids, portion of bids, electrode bids, bids not received, and not Opened and not read out in public at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
