The Ngara District Council located In Kagera Region, has received fund from Regional Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Power Project / WORLD BANK through NELSAP/ under the program of LADP and set aside some of the funds toward construction of building Infrastructures at various Secondary Schools, Primary Schools, Dispensary and Lukole Health Center. It Is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will E be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the invited tenders as described above.
The Ngara District Council now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Building Contractors registered In Class Five and above for Construction of building infrastructures at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Dispensary and Lukole Health Center In Ngara District Council described above. Interested eligible tenderer who meet conditions of Instruction to Tenderer (ITT) Clause No.13 can apply for more than one Lot in any tender.
Tendering Will be conducted though the National competitive procedures specified In the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended In 2016 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined In the Regulations unless otherwise stated In the Tender Data Sheet
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board Ngara District council P.O.BOX 30 Ngara, from 7.30 am to 9.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays Inclusive except on public holidays
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by Interested Tenderers upon submission of a Written application to the address given under paragraph 7 below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs 150,000/=. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to District Executive Director.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
AII Tenders In one original plus three copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in a sealed plain envelopes marked Tender Number, Lot Number and Assignment Title must be delivered to the Secretary of Tender Board, Ngara District Council, P.0.BOX 30, Ngara at or before 10.00 hours local time on Wednesday 15th May, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter In public and In the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend In the opening at Ngara District Count“ Meeting Hall.
Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender Opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstance.
