NMB Owned Residential Houses
Introduction
1. 2. The Bank welcomes competitive bids for the sale of its owned Residential Houses on’AS IS’and ‘WHERE IS’ basis.There are thirty (30) houses on sale by tender as listed below and are available for viewing and
inspection on week days from 26th July 2019 from 9 am to 3 pm at their respective locations in various areas across the country as shown in the table below:
3. All bidders are required to to deposit 20 % of the bid price through NMB account NO 101-214010003 HEAD OFFICE.This will be refunded to all unsuccessful bidders. Application not
accompanied by 20% deposit will be liable for disqualification;
4. All bidders must indicate the proper address, emails, contact phone numbers and your Bank account details. Application not drawn and presented in the manner prescribed will be liable for disqualification;
5. All bids should be submitted in plain,sealed envelope(s), clearly marked ‘Tender for Purchase of Residential Houses’and posted or hand delivered to the following addresses according to house zonal locations not later than 1500 Hours on Friday 16th August 2019:-

6. The closing date for receiving bids is at 1500 Hours on Monday 16th August 2019. All bids will be opened in public at a tender opening ceremony to be held at the respective zonal offices indicated above on the closing date of the bids.
7. Successful bidders will be informed of the results immediately after the tender committee meeting and will be required to pay the balance of TENDER/BID PRICE amount for the selected Residential House within 7 days of being informed of the results.
8. The successful bidder shall be fully responsible for paying all property tax and any other charges that may arise from the purchase of the Residential Houses.
9. The successful bidders shall have to pay for ownership transfer charges for changing the registration particulars/title deeds at ministry of lands and settlement prior to handover of the awarded Residential House.
NMB reserves the right to accept or reject bids and the right to make the final decision concerning this sale of Residential Houses. All documents for the residential houses must be collected within 5 days from the date of full payment.
