SONGEA URBAN WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION AUTHORITY
INVITATION FOR TENDERS
- The government of Tanzania has a set aside funds for the operation of Luhimbalilo Naikesi water supply project during the financial year 2019/2020. Its intend that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contractor for the Supply of pipes
- The Songea Urban Water Supply and sanitation authority now invites sealed tenders from eligible national suppliers for the supply of pipes
- Tendering will be conducted though the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the public procurement regulation, 2013 – Government Notice 446 and is open to all tenders as defined in the regulation
- Interested eligible tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering document at the office of the Managing Director Songea Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority, P.O. Box 363, Songea located at mahenge street from 7:30 to 17:30 on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays
- A complete of set of tendering document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interest tenders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tsh 100,000/=. Payment should either be by cash, banker draft or banker’s cheque payable to the Managing Director
- All tenders must be accompanied by bid securing declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents
- All tenders in one original plus 3 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Managing Director Songea Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority, P.O. Box 363, Songea, room No 4 on or before 13/03/2020. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the songea urban water supply and sanitation authority conference
- Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tenders opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of circumstances
