INVITATION FOR TENDERS
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for these Works which appeared in TANROADS website on 14th May 2019, PPRA website and Tanzania Procurement Journal.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Geita Region intends to use part of its proceeds from the Roads Fund Budget and Consolidated allocations during Financial Year 2019/2020 to cave: eligible payments under various contracts for maintenance of trunk and regional roads in Geita Region.
The Regional Manager TANROADS Geita Region on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, now Invites sealed tenders from eligible National Civil Contractors registered with Contractors Registration Board (CRB) In Classes Med In the table below and VAT Registered for carrying out of various works as indicated hereunder:

Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive Tendering procedures specified in the specified In the Public Procurement Act 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended In 2016 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further Information ham and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Regional Manager, TANROADS -Geita, Nyanza Street, Kagera Area, P.O. Box 433, -Geita from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents In English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Tanzania shillings one hundred and fifty thousand (Tshs 150,000.00). Payment will be made through Government’s e-Payment Gateway System (GePG) on CRDB, NMB Bank; Tigo Pesa. or Mpesa after receiving a Control Number from TANROADS -Geita.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration 1n the format provided in the Tender Documents.
All tenders In one original plus two copies, properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board Geita Region, P. O. Box 433-Geita before deadline of submission at 10.00 am on 21/10/2019. Tenders will opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tender’s’ representatives who choose to attend In the opening ceremony at the Regional Manager’s Office TANROADS Geita.
Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances.
