INVITATION FOR TENDERS (IFT) RE-ADVERTISMENT
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for Projects which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal (TPJ) volume XII-No.24 and Tender Portal dated 11th June, 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency in Rukwa Region during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Upgrading of Matai Town road 1km to Bituminous Standard (Double Surface dressing) in Kalambo District Council.
3. The Rukwa Regional Coordinator on behalf of the Chief Executive officer TARURA now invites sealed tenders from eligible Civil contractors registered by Contractors Registration Board (CR8) in their respective class as shown in the table below:

4. Tendering will be conducted through the national competitive tendering procedures specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board, R0 Box 719 Rukwa Region, Mpanda Road, Ujenzi Compound opposite Nelson Mandela Stadium Sumbawanga from 8:00 am to 15:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Shillings Only (Tshs. 1 50,000.00). Payment should either be by Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, Subject to confirmation of payment control number Issued by Regional Coordinator TARURA RUKWA payable to the following account: TARURA COLLECTION ACCOUNT, Account number. 53010001080 NMB, Branch Kambarage. Prospective bidders should come with the original pay in slip from Bank for obtaining Receipt.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. Site visit are as shown in tender document and the cost of such site visit will be bared by bidders.
9. All Tenders in one original plus three copies , properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Delegated TARURA Regional Tender BoardRukwa Region, PO. Box 719 Sumbawanga at or before 10:00 hours on Tuesday 29th October, 2019.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Regional Coordinator’s Hall, TARURA Rukwa.

10. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
