INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF OFFICE BUILDING AT CHATO
Tanzania Teachers Union (TTU) has set aside funds towards the cost of the construction of its district office at Chato and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for office building construction. Tanzania Teachers Union now intends to pre-qualify Applicants for construction of office building at Chato. Geita. It is expected that invitations to tender will be made in January. 2020.
Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in Regulation 119 of the Public Procurement (Regulations Government Notice 446 of 2013. and is open to all Applicants as defined in the Regulations.
Tanzania Teachers Union intends to pre-qualify contractors registered In Class Five (5) and above in Building Category for the proposed construction of an office building at Chato.
Interested applicants may submit applications at the office of General Secretary. TANZANIA TEACHERS UNION, CWT Building Jamhuri Street. Dodoma municipal in Dodoma on or before 20th December, 2019.
All applications in one original plus two copies, properly filled in. and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below on or before 1400 hours 20th December, 2019. Applications will be opened promptly thereafter before the Tender board on the day of tender opening.
The outer cover containing the applications shall be properly marked ”GENERAL SECRETARY, TANZANIA TEACHERS UNION (TTU), P.O. BOX 3077 DODOMA

· Structure i.e management processes, operational procedures. turnover.
· Quality
· Safety .
· Senior Management
· experience
· Current Projects/Backlog
· number. size, and location of projects Le percent of capacity being utilized, status and expected completion period
· Financial Strength
Late applications. portion of applications, electronic applications. and applications not received. applications not opened and not read out in tender board at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
