INVITATION FOR TENDERS
DATE: 22 JULY, 2019
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which appeared in PPRA Journal, Issue No. ISSN: 1821-6021 Vol XII-No.25 dated on 18th June 2019
2. The Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) has set aside funds for the operation of TARURA MANYARA REGION during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contracts for the implementation of various Roads Maintenance Projects at Hanang’ District Council, Kiteto District Council, Babati Town Council, Babati District Council, Simanjiro District Council, Mbulu District Council and Mbulu Town Council.
3. The Manyara Regional Coordinator on behalf of the Chief executive Officer of TARURA now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National Civil Works Contractors registered with Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in various classes as shown below:
4. The TARURA Manyara Region now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in various Classes/Category as shown in item No. 3 above.
5. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No.446 of 2013 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
6. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board – Manyara, P. O. Box 389, Manyara located in Bagara ward at Bagara Miyomboni Street, Plot No.131, Block BB, From 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
7. A complete set of Tendering documents may be purchased by interested tenderer up on submission of a writen application to an Accountant Office located at Babati Town Council Building, Second Floor so as to be issued a Control Number to effect payment of a nonrefundable fee of TShs100,000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand only) for each set, payable either by Banker’s Cheque or Banker’s Draft to: TARURA COLLECTION ACCOUNT, THROUGH NATIONAL MICROFINANCE BANK KAMBARAGE BRANCH DODOMA ACCOUNT NUMBER: 53010001080.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
9. A combined pre-tender site visit and meeting for the above tenders shall be held on date and time stated in the Bid data Sheet. Interested bidders are advised to attend site visit at their own cost.
10. All Tenders in one original plus Three copy properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address, The Secretary- Delegated TARURA Manyara Region Tender Board at or before at 10:00 AM Monday 5th August, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening at TARURA Manyara Regional Coordinator Conference Hall located in Bagara ward at Bagara Miyomboni Street, Plot No.131, Block BB.
11. Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
