INVITATION TO TENDER

1. This Invitation to Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice which appeared in the PPRA Tender portal and Procurement Journal on Tuesday
2. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Regional Coordinator’s Office TARURA – Morogoro for
the Financial Year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds to be used to cover eligible payments under the contracts for Works
and Consultancy Service
3. The Regional Coordinator TARURA-Morogoro on behalf of the Chief Executive-TARURA now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Contractors Registered by Contractors Registration Board (CRB) Tanzania in Classes indicated below
4. The approximate quantities for major work items are as shown in the table given below.

5. Tendering will be conducted through the National competiitve Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations. 2013- Government Notice No. 446 and its amendments 2016 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the tender Data Sheet.
6. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Regional Coordinator, TARURA -Morogoro Region. Street Address: New NHC Building located along Old Dar es Salaam road ,opposite Mini Bus Stand Morogoro Town,Second Floor, P.O. Box 6766, Morogoro: from 7.30 to 15.30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
7. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers upon submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Tanzania shillings 150,000.00 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand). Payment should be made to TARURA collection Account through NMB Kambarage Branch A/C No. 53010001080 subject to confirmation of payment control number issued by Coordinator’s Office TARURA-Morogoro and prospective bidder should come with original pay slip from the bank.
8. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents.
9. All tenders in one (1) original plus three (3) copies of original, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to The Secretary, Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board, P.O.Box 6766, Morogoro – Tanzania before the deadline for submission at 10.00 hours Local time on Friday 26/7/2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the conference hall of Regional Coordinator’s Office TARURA-Morogoro.
10. Pre-site visit will be conducted on 17th and 18th July, 2019 at respective TARURA Council Manager’s Office at bidder’s own cost followed by Pre-Bid
meeting.
11. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
