INVITATION FOR TENDERS
TENDER No: AE/092/2019/2020/MZA/W/52- 55 AND RE -ADVERTISED
1.The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds Through-Road Fund for the operation of the TARURA Mwanza Region during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for which this invitation for tenders is intended.
2. The TARURA REGIONAL COORDINATOR in MWANZA now invites sealed bids from eligible National Civil Engineering Contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in classes specified in the Table below;

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering(NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Regional Delegated Tender Board, located at Isamilo International loop road Near Medical research area in Mwanza Regional Coordinator’s Office (REC), P.O.Box 18, Mwanza from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tzs. 100,000/= (Tanzanian shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) for the Bid No. AE/092/2019/2020/MZA/W/52-55, Payment should be made to NMB Bank Account No. 53010001080, Account Name TARURA Collection Account Kambarage Branch through Government Electronic Payment gateway (GePG) by obtaining Control Number issued by Regional Coordinator.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
7. All Tenders in one original plus Three copies from Original document, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes, marked with appropriate bid name and number must be addressed and delivered to the SECRETARY, REGIONAL DELEGATED TENDER BOARD, TARURA-MWANZA P.O.BOX 18,MWANZA. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony on or before Wednesday 16th October, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the REGIONAL COORDINATOR’S CONFERENCE HALL.
8. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
