INSURANCE PRE-QUALIFICATION
Background
The Madrasa Early Childhood Programme -Zanzibar (MECP-Z) is an affiliate of The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF). For 29 years MECP-Z has been implementing Early Childhood Background Development (ECD) programmes in Zanzibar and in 2014 started to deliver its programming in mainland Tanzania.
Currently MECP-Z is implementing Elimu Bora a four-year (2017-2021) project in Zanzibar and Kilwa aimed at improving access to quality pre-primary education in remote rural communities. It is also working with Norwegian Association of Disables to Implement a 5 year project on Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) in the areas of Human Rights and Advocacy (HRA) and Inclusive Education and Early Childhood Education (IE&ECD) for the period of 2020 0 2024. MECP-Z also provides Advisory Services in the Areas of Care for Child Development (CCD) and Early Childhood Development (ECD)
Area of work
MECP-Z is looking for a qualified and efficient Insurance Company to ‘provide insurance Area of Work services to the organization.
Expected delivers
The Insurance Covers to be provided are: Deliverables 1. Group Personal Accident; this will cover the personal accident of 21 staff (6 in Pemba, 2n Kilwa and 13 in Unguja) 2. Motor Insurance: this will cover comprehensive motor insurance for various motor vehicles that belong to MECP-Z in Kilwa, Unguja and Pemba ‘ a l 3. Premises Insurance: this covers Equivalent Insurance, Burglary and All Risks j Insurance for all equipment in Unguja, Pemba and Kilwa. ‘ Proposed Insurance Coverage will start 1st January 2020 31st December 2020 with the potential to timeline renew the contract in the upcoming years.
