INVITATION TO TENDERENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR REPLACEMENT OF 18″ AGO SUBSEA PIPELINE

1. Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Co Ltd (TIPER) is a bulk storage facility for
   Petroleum Products with its shares divided equally between the Government of Tanzania and Oryx Energies SA of Switzerland. The Company office is located at Kigamboni Industrial Area, Depot site-plot1, Dares Salaam-Tanzania.
2. TIPER hereby invites via International Competitive Bidding (ICB) experienced Class One
   Mechanical contractors to bid for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Works for Replacement of 18″ AGO Subsea Pipeline.
3. Interested and eligible bidders may request for an electronic copy of tender document by sending their request letters and copy of CRB Certificate or equivalent certification through the following email: [email protected] from 15th May, 2023 to 15th
   June 2023 from Monday to Friday, between 8:00A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
4. Bidders MUST visit the site before bidding. Site visit will be conducted on 22 May, 2023
   between 10:30am to 11:30 am East African local time.
5. During the site visit all bidders will be required to come to the Client Premises located at
   Kigamboni with their own PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment) which meets TIPER standards. This includes Steel Toe Safety Boots, Cotton Overcoat/Overall and Workers Helmet. Bidders without PPE’s will not be allowed onto the site.
6. Bids MUST be submitted in hardcopies only. Soft copies of bids MUST be submitted in USB
   Flash Disk/Drives embedded in the copy envelope. No bids shall be received via email.
7. All bids submitted in plain sealed envelopes in one original plus one copy, properly filled and marked TENDER NO: TP/05/2023/1CB/W/007 FOR ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT
   AND CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR REPLACEMENT OF 18″ AGO SUBSEA
   PIPELINE. Soft copies of bids MUST be submitted in USB Flash Disk Drives embedded in the
   copy envelope. All bids must be delivered physically to; The Secretary, Tender Committee,
   Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Limited (TIPER), P.0. Box 2608, Kigamboni, Dar es
   Salaam.
8. The deadline for submission of Tender documents will be 4.00 P.M. local time on 16th June,
   2023
9. There shall be NO public opening of bids.
10. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids will not be considered for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
11. TIPER is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
