NOTICE ts hereby issued to the public that the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authonty (EWURA),
has received an application for a Water Supply and Sanitation License from Rombo Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Rombo WSSA) (‘the Applicant’) for the provision of water supply and sanitation services in Rombo District, Kilimanjaro Region EWURA 1s inviting comments from the public on the application Particulars of the Applicant are as provided below:-

3.Water Source and Infrastructures
Rombo Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Rombo WSSA) has two major water sources; surface and ground water, The surface water source consist of thirty (30) river and spring intakes while the ground water source consist of six (6) boreholes. The combined installed water production capacity for all water Sources is 26,825 cubic meters per day. The applicant’s water production and storage infrastructure consist of 112 water tanks with a total storage capacity of 11,999.5 cubic meters. Also, the applicant has water network with a total length of 1.374.85km and 682 water kiosks.
4.Ownership Structure
Rombo Water Supply and Sanitation Authority Rombo WSSA) is 100% owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania
