VACANCY – QUALITATIVE FIELD INTERVIEWER– MOMCARE PROJECT
Our client the African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC) is an African-led and Africa based international research institute committed to conducting high quality and policy relevant multidisciplinary research. Their research addresses important development issues and challenges facing sub-Saharan Africa in areas such as education, population, health, aging, urbanization and wellbeing. The APHRC is seeking to fill the position of Qualitative Field Interviewers in its MomCare Evaluation project where the candidate will be based in Tanzania. The study will be conducted in Manyara and Kilimanjaro regions.
We are looking for an individual who is suitably qualified and competent with experience as a Qualitative Field Interview
THE JOB
Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtain and document informed consent/assent from the study participants prior to the interviews.
- Conduct and record in-depth interviews.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Work or related disciplines
- Ability to conduct qualitative interviews in Kiswahili and English.
- Must have experience in conducting in-depth interviews within a health facility setting.
- Have experience using electronic data capture methods such as Survey CTO.
