Job Title: Assistant Workshop Manager (Mechanical Engineering) – 2 Positions

About the Role
We are looking for qualified, experienced and motivated individuals to join our team in the following positions:

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the workshop manager in supervising and coordinating daily workshop activities.
• Plana and monitor vehicles servicing, maintainance, and repair activities.
• Supervise mechanics and workshop staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely
• Diagnose mechanical faults and assist in determining appropriate repair procedures.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced according to schedules.
• Monitor the use of workshop tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures within the workshop
• Prepare and maintain maintainance and repairs records
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure repairs meet required standards
• Assist in managing workshop productivity and controlling maintainance costs.
• Perfom any duties assigned by the workshop Manager

Qualificants and Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• proven experience in vehicle maintainance and workshop operations
• Experience working with heavy – duty trucks will be an added advantages
• Good leadership, supervisory, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
