The firm is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance and Administration Associate to join its motivated team.
JOB SUMMARY
The Finance and Operations Associate is responsible for managing and executing various accounting activities, and administration matters, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The position provides administrative and logistical support services to ABS staff and associates. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Managing Partner, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day office operations by providing general office support services. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, including Excel; familiarity with TRA System and other relevant financial systems.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with demonstrated experience in payroll management, VAT returns, and financial reconciliation.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address financial issues and improve processes.
- Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements related to finance and accounting.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Word Processing skills, strong analytical skills, and experience with financial reporting and compliance is essential.
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
