Rocket Trading Limited is a cigarette distribution company offering an exciting job opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Marketing Department in Dar es Salaam. This opportunity is ideal for eligible candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in Marketing, Customer Relations, Hospitality and Business administration.
Purpose of Job:
• Develop (Hotel, Restaurants and Catering – HORECA) commercial strategies and objectives based on consumer and competitive insights in the assigned territory and align them with Rocket Company partners (distributor, promoter agency, and 3rd parties).
• Ensure effective implementation/execution of all the agreed strategies (including trade and consumer engagement activities) and ultimately accountable for attaining the planned volume and share of the market in assigned role/territory and be the point of contact for all HORECA partners.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
• HORECA COMMERCIAL STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION AND FOLLOW THROUGH.
– Contribute to the development of awareness, distribution and consumer engagement strategies and plans in the assigned territory.
• ROUTE/TERRITORY DATA MANAGEMENT AND MARKET INTELLIGENCE.
– Validate and analyze consumer and trade data collected by the Trade, Promoters and Consumer Engagement (CE) Executives to better understand HORECA and define action plans for improvements.
• CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT, RETAIL, & TRADE PROGRAMS
– Manage and follow-up the implementation of agreed upon Trade and CE initiatives in HORECA to ensure maximum effect of these programs in the assigned role.
• INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTNERS MANAGEMENT
– Align and coordinate activities with Brand Management, Trade Marketing Departments and relevant parties to ensure collaboration for successful implementation among all business partners on granular initiatives
• KPI MANAGEMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT
• GROWTH OF CATEGORY IN HORECA CHANNEL.
– Manage and follow-up the implementation of agreed upon Trade and CE initiatives in HORECA to ensure maximum effect of these programs in the assigned role.
🎓 Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience in Consumer Engagement not less than 4 years, HORECA experience is a major added advantage.
• Eagerness to learn, good communication skills, and attention to detail
