About the Assignment
WeWorld is seeking an individual Consulting Engineer to provide independent technical supervision and contract administration for six (6) civil works lots being implemented in Mkoani and Chake Chake Districts, Pemba. The assignment includes supervision of pathways, retaining walls, green areas, recreational and associated civil works. The Consultant will support quality, time and cost control; verify progress and milestones; review technical issues and proposed modifications; advise on variations, claims and extension requests; participate in site meetings; and support completion, defects-liability and commissioning activities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience with EU-funded projects and/or international non-governmental organisations (iNGOs) will be considered an added advantage.
