MAINTENANCE PLANNER JOB ADVERTISEMENT
Fabec Investment Limited is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Planner to join our team. The successful candidate for this position is expected to align to the Fabec Investment Ltd policies and drive a change within his/her team and the business and on a practical note will ensure activities in the Department are effectively planned and undertaken in a safe and cost-effective manner to achieve targets in accordance with Fabec`s Standards, Policies and Procedures.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and manage Preventive, Predictive, Lubrication and Inspection Maintenance Plans.
• Develop technical procedures for maintenance activities.
• Scale the resources necessary for the proper fulfilment of activities.
• Manage the portfolio of planned services that will soon be transferred to programming.
• Constantly review the technical scope of maintenance activities, aiming to find points of improvement based on past experiences.
• Collect information that contributes to the planning and execution of activities, aiming at optimizing the productivity of labour and other resources.
• Have technical knowledge to correctly specify material and mechanical and electrical spare parts for machines and equipment.
• Request the correct purchase of the necessary materials so that the activities are carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
• Control the receipt of requested materials.
• Complete requisition and material return.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Engineering degree (Mechanical) bachelor’s degree from recognized institution/University.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 3 years in maintenance and planning experience
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have management skills.
• Solid understand of maintenance planning and scheduling concepts. • Must have computer skills with solid understand and Microsoft office applications, strong communication skills, good leadership qualities, good analytical skills, and a demonstrated high level of integrity.
