The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), is a Semi-Autonomous Agency in the Ministry of Works and Transport established on 1st July, 2000. It is responsible for day to day management of the Tanzania mainland’s Trunk and Regional Roads Network as well as construction of Airports.
The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) on behalf of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has entered into a Contract for the construction of Simiyu Bridge (150M) and its approach road (3KM) to bitumen standard.
The Regional Manager’s Office, TANROADS Mwanza on behalf of the Chief Executive, intends to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill vacant posts on specified contract for the aforementioned project in the following fields:
POSITION TITTLE: Administrative Officer II (1 POST)
Entry Qualifications
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen who is a holder of Bachelor Degree in Public Administration or Human Resource Management from any recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To supervise premises at site;
- To liaise with social welfare officers from TANROADS Headquarters;
- To ensure that Office and premises are maintained and kept clean;
- To co-ordinate with Project Manager on matters related to project’ employees;
- To ensure timely preparation of time sheet and payment of allowances to project’s employees
- To liaise with other service providers such as TANESCO and water service provider;
- To allocate office stationery and equipment to employees as required; and
- To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
NB: – Contract duration is Eighteen (18) months
