Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for Maintenance and repair of all Boiler machines.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Boiler maintenance during steam stops and off crops.
- Operate the boiler as per set standards and procedure.
- Monitoring and controlling all boiler performance parameters.
- Controlling steam pressure and steam flow.
- Ensure Safety of people and boiler.
- Ensure the working place is clean and free from any hazards.
- Ensure that all problems are reported immediately to the relevant authorities.
- Effective communication.
- Ensure boiler physical checkup is done by using the check list.
- Ensure that all running parameters recorded and logged by checking and countersigning.
Job Requirements:
- Full Technician Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Form IV/VI certificate accompanied by sound Grade I in Fitter Mechanics from a recognized Institution or Level III Fitter Mechanics from VETA.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Factory environment.
- Honest, Obedient, ready to work long hours under pressure and attentive to details.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Factory environment.
- Computer literate.
- Mentally and physically fit.
Terms Of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on Permanent Contract.
