Tanganyika Plywood LTD (TPL) produces plywood for the local and regional markets in East Africa. It uses sustainable plantation materials, specifically eucalyptus and pine. The company has been operating for 8 years. It is looking for a candidate that has a keen eye to detail strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of business and accounting principles. The company is located in Mafinga, Tanzania and the project post is for a full-time position on site.
Description
The position will be to fill office/administrative roles within the company dependent on your experience and education.
Responsibilities
- As per final role
Reports to: Accounting Officer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
- Strong problem solver, with hands-on approach to plan and execute well
- Growth mindset and the ability to self-learn and teach others
- Knowledge of accounting software is preferred such as QuickBooks or Xero.
