Position: Caregiver/Matron
Gosheni Nursery and Primary School
Gosheni Nursery and primary school, located in Bunjua A, Dar es Salaam is seeking to appoint caregivers who will ensuring the welfare of the pupils within the boarding facility and act as a model in all areas to pupils within the boarding facility.
Responsibilities:
- The caregivers will be expected to take care of pupils, with particular responsibilities for their health, mental, academic, emotionally and general well- being.
- They will also be responsible for the cleanliness, discipline and organization in the dorm.
Requirements:
- We look to recruit committed and resourceful staff, who are looking to not only develop their skills and leadership capacities, but also embrace new experiences and challenges.
- The successful candidate will need to be able to support the School’s aims and Christian ethos.
- They will have to have attained a certificate in one of these areas: nursing, education or childcare.
- The successful candidate will be expected to have a good command of the English language both spoken and written.
- Beyond that we want to have staff who love working as part of a team; who are first-class communicators and who are passionate about pupils, who are creative and diligent in their planning; who are adaptable, energetic and resilient.
- Experience of working in a School environment, or in boarding, for a period of one year would be desirable, Above all, what matters is a commitment to help us provide a world-class education and care for our children.
- Holding and certificate from Irente college in Lushoto is an added advantage.
