Steel Structure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design of buildings, pipe racks, equipment supports, and other key facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with international codes.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables including structural calculations, construction drawings, material specs, and detailed design documentation.
- Oversee field construction activities to ensure structural works align with drawings, specifications, and HSE standards.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure full integration of structural elements across disciplines.
- Join design review and constructability meetings to deliver practical and efficient structural solutions.
- Provide real-time technical support during fabrication, erection, and commissioning, addressing site deviations and challenges.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and third-party inspectors to ensure QA/QC compliance and technical alignment.
- Document and report structural engineering activities accurately and timely.
- Design for a range of loads (static, dynamic, seismic, wind, thermal) in line with international standards and project requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned that support successful project execution.
What We’re Looking For:
Education:
- Degree: Bachelor’s or above in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Language: Fluency in spoken and written English
Experience:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in steel structure design and construction
- Prior work on international EPC projects, preferably in oil & gas or energy infrastructure
- Experience working in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in structural design software: STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, TEKLA Structures, AutoCAD, Revit
- Knowledge of welding specifications, NDT standards, and structural inspection methods
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, erection methods, and field troubleshooting
- Familiarity with international structural codes: AISC, ASCE, Eurocode, API, IBC, etc.
- Capable of interpreting complex drawings and translating designs into constructible solutions
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Thermal Insulation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize insulation systems for pipelines, valves, pumps, and storage tanks in line with API, ISO, ASME, and ASTM standards.
- Conduct heat transfer analysis and select suitable insulation materials based on thermal, environmental, and corrosion considerations.
- Specify anti-corrosion coatings and cathodic protection compatible with insulation systems.
- Prepare technical specifications and method statements for insulation works.
- Supervise on-site installation, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Lead quality inspections (e.g., thickness checks, adhesion tests) and manage documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and local environmental standards.
- Support system commissioning and handover by resolving punch list items.
- Participate in technical design reviews and workshops.
- Provide guidance and training to contractors and junior engineers.
What We’re Looking For:

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with insulation design tools (e.g., ANSYS, PIPESIM) and corrosion simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, CPDesign)
- Strong understanding of insulation materials (aerogel, PIR foam), corrosion mechanisms, and mitigation strategies
- Working knowledge of standards: NACE SP0198, ISO 12944, API 570
Preferred Certifications:
- NACE Certified Corrosion Technician (CCT) or Coating Inspector Level II
- AMPP SCUI (Specialist in Corrosion Under Insulation)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
