Driver Guide
We are looking for qualified Safari Driver Guide with fluent communication in English
Location: at Lodge in Serengeti National Park
Reporting to Lodge Manager
Duties and Responsibility
– Safely drive and guide the guests on game drives through National sharing knowledge of animals, vegetation and areas
– Contributing and provide best services to clients that ensure unforgettable safari in Tanzania.
– Taking full responsibilities in game drive where possible, to host bush breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as discussing day success and plan for next day activities
– Provide best knowledge of on wildlife, history, culture, geology, birds, trees and plants. to be able to share the knowledge to clients
– Must have knowledge of parks road and alternative roads network and time it take to cover the distance between certain destination
– Be clear and consistent in providing information to clients in a charming manner
– Regular vehicle check, make sure the vehicle is in excellent condition before starting safari
– Be able to host clients in all situation and properly as their guides during game drive
– Warm communication and be able to and promote company and Tanzania wildlife
– Navigating through National Park ensure safety and comfort of clients
– Execute other responsibilities related to guiding.
Qualifications
Should have at least 3 years of experience in similar job.
Should have a valid Tanzania driving license
Driver guide must have knowledge of areas in National park or game reserve, location of camps / lodge
Good customer care
Skills and knowledge of driving 4×4 Land Cruiser
Health and safety of clients as well as client’s well being
Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili, any other language like French, German, Italian will be an added advantage
