  • Description:
    • Qualifications and Experience: Candidates must hold a Form IV or Form VI certificate, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university or higher education institution, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Candidates with a certificate in computer training will be given priority.
    • Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Prepare schedules for hearing preliminary criminal and civil cases.
      • Hear preliminary criminal, civil, marital, and inheritance cases.
      • Deliver judgments for all cases heard.
      • Issue various court orders as permitted by law.
      • Resolve disputes.
      • Hear appeals from ward tribunals.
      • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
