Job Title: HR Business Partner

Department: Human Resources and Administration

Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania

No of direct reports: 5+

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

Minimum; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Work Experience:

5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner role

Language:

Fluent in written and spoken English and Swahili

2.     Job Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced company. The HRBP serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR expertise and support to drive organizational success.

3.     Key Focus Areas for the People and Culture Manager Position

  • Align HR strategies with business goals
  • Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees
  • Implement HR programs and initiatives
  • Manage employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Drive talent management and development efforts
  • Oversee performance management processes
  • Lead organizational development initiatives
  • Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement

4.     Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand and address HR needs
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Handle employee relations issues and investigations
  • Lead talent acquisition and retention efforts
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to managers
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to drive data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives

5.     Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner role
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

6.     Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s
  • Extra working hours may be required given the nature of Company’s
  • Able to travel within Dar Es Salaam, other regions and countries where the company has
