JUCo is looking for highly qualified and competent personnel to fill the following vacancies:
Job type: Full-time
Internal Auditor (1)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure financial procedures comply with JUCo’s standards
- Conduct investigations of academic and administrative accounts
- Verify College income and ensure expenditure is properly incurred
- Evaluate internal controls to ensure timely, accurate information and protection against loss
- Report suspected fraud or dishonesty immediately
- Maintain inventory of assets according to policy
- Advise budget holders on the efficient use of financial resources
- Liaise with external auditors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with CPA (T), or equivalent, registered by NBAA as an Authorized Auditor
