Duration: One-Year Contract, Renewable Based on Performance
Reports to: Research Nurse Lead, Project Coordinator, Study Principal Investigator
Overall Job Purpose:
The Junior Field Officer will assist with the “Smart Discharge” study, including enrolling participants, conducting surveys, and follow-up surveys after discharge. The role involves collaboration with the research team at BMC.
Job Requirements and Competencies:
- Certificate or Diploma Nurse registered with TANZANIA NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL (TNMC).
- Valid practicing license and driving license with Class A.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and research practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general internet use.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Data collection during hospitalization and post-discharge.
- Ensure data safety and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with research and clinical teams.
- Assist with data entry and management.
- Uphold professional conduct.
