Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Lead

MakiniHR Solutions Tanzania is recruiting a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Lead on behalf of a client dedicated to transforming public services through digital citizen engagement platforms, with a focus on improving healthcare outcomes in Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage MEL frameworks, design data collection tools, and ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct data analysis, maintain real-time dashboards, and produce high-quality reports.
- Lead rigorous research studies, manage research publications, and collaborate with external evaluators.
- Supervise MEL staff, foster collaboration, and provide training on MEL best practices.
- Engage with government, donors, and research partners, ensuring timely communications and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience in MEL, preferably in health programs.
- Expertise in statistical tools (SPSS, Stata, R), data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau), and research paper writing.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in English and Swahili (preferred).
