DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Type letters, reports, and both ordinary and confidential documents.
- Receive visitors, listen to their concerns, and direct them to where they can get assistance.
- Keep records of events, appointments, meeting dates, supervisor’s trips, and other work schedules.
- Locate files and documents required for work activities.
- Receive files and distribute them to relevant officers within the department/unit/section.
- Collect, store, and return files and documents to the appropriate places.
- Prepare minutes and make arrangements for various meetings.
- Prepare a list of office supply requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be a Form Four (O-Level) or Form Six (A-Level) graduate with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or an NTA Level 6 Certificate in Secretarial Studies.
- Must have passed shorthand typing in both Kiswahili and English at a speed of 100 words per minute.
- Must have computer application skills in office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher from a government-recognized institution.
