The company is currently looking for a dedicated and self-motivated volunteer to work in its Procurement Department.
Job Title: Procurement Officer Volunteer
Department: Procurement Department
Reports To: Procurement Manager

Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Procurement, Business Administration in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- At least one year of working experience in procurement.
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Applicants should demonstrate high levels of discipline, strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, innovative problem-solving skills, and effective time management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
- Research potential vendors.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
- Prepare cost analyses.
- Follow up with suppliers as needed to confirm or adjust orders.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.
