QC INSPECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
2.Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
3.Measure products with Ovens, Balance Weights, CD Express, Pressure Drop, End Testers, Densimeters and other machines as directed by quality Supervisor
4.Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
5.Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications
6.Accept or reject finished products according to standards
7.Identify and remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
8.Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
9.Report inspection and test data to Quality Supervisor
10.Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for deliveries
11.Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services
12.Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
13.Document inspection results by completing detailed reports and performance records
14.Educate the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence
15.Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner
16.Maintain high confidentiality records of testing, information and various metrics performed by the company
17.Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
18.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
19.Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase
20.Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were taken
