QUALITY CONTROL (QC) INSPECTOR
Job Summary
The job holder, reporting to the QC Supervisor / QC Manager, is required to carry out online quality tests in the assigned production line / area and advice the next in line on any areas of improvement to achieve a quality product. In order to realize customer confidence in the quality of the testing, the job holder is required to utilize his/her knowledge, experience, skills and resources at his/her disposal.
Job Description
1.Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
2.Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
3.Measure products with Ovens, Balance Weights, CD Express, Pressure Drop, End Testers, Densimeters and other machines as directed by quality Supervisor
4.Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
5.Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications
6.Accept or reject finished products according to standards
7.Report inspection and test data to Quality Supervisor
8.Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for deliveries
9.Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services
10.Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
11.Document inspection results by completing detailed reports and performance records
12.Educate the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence
13.Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner
14.Maintain high confidentiality records of testing, information and various metrics performed by the company
15.Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
16.Any other assigned tasks by immediate superior.
Requirements:
•Basic Education-High school.
•Certification in quality control is preferred.
•A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
•Computer Literacy
•On Job Training.
•Good math and technical skills.
•Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
•Keen attention to details
•Have the knowledge in operating QA lab equipment
