Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance equipment and trouble shooting at Factory K1 department.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carries out maintenance and repairs mechanical breakdowns and troubleshooting at Factory during crushing season.
- Repairs all mechanical equipment during off crop.
- Attend all breakdowns of machines and systems all over the factory during crushing season.
- Able to read drawings.
- Able to prepare spare during stop day.
- Monitor the performance of the machine / equipment.
- Ensures check list done daily basis.
- Effective communication with others.
- Inspects machine condition and safety before starting up.
- Ensure safety of people and machines.
- Reports defects of mechanical equipment after inspection.
JOB QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least form IV certificate accompanied/vocational training, fitter mechanics trade test grade 1 and above.
- Extensive knowledge in electrical machinery, running behaviors, safety and lock out procedures.
- 2+ years’ experience working in mechanical jobs in manufacturing industry.
- Mentally and physically fit.
- Ready to work abnormal hours should the job require it.
- Attention to details.
TERMS OF SERVICE: The successful candidate will be engaged on Permanent Contract.
