OFFERS FOR SALE THE USED VEHICLES

The Food and Agriculture Organizations (FAO), Tanzania Country Office offers for sale the vehicle listed below:

General conditions:

1. Bids should be submitted using the Bid submission from which can be obtained at FAO  Office or can be sent by email upon required by the odder through email [email protected] with subject “FAO Vehicle Bid From Request”
2. The item will be awarded to the highest order
3.  Late bids will be rejected
4. Bids below the minimum amount will be rejected.
5. Bids to be submitted in Tanzania shillings.

 Terms of sale: 

1. Upon notification, the successful bidder must pay within three (3) working days by direct deposit in each to the FAO Representation Bank Account or by Telegraphic transfer to FAO Account. Should the successful bidder fail to arrange payment within three (3) working days the name(s) will be offered to the second highest bidder.
2. The vehicles will be ended over to the purchases offer payment is received in full.
3. Payment of any transfer fees, saves taxes, import duty, insurance or any other such cost shall be at the expense of the purchases. The vehicles will be released with UN markings, logs and license plastics. All security and radio equipment will be removed at FAO’s expense.
4. FAO reserves the right not to accept any other bids do not meet the minimum bid price (Ref.Bid Submission Form)
5. The vehicles will be collected from FAO premises not less than 30^th September 2021 at the buyer’s expense.
6. FAO will issue a receipt (Bid of Sale) to the buyers
7. A FAO Property Transfer Form must be signed by both parties.

 Warranty:

The vehicle is offered for sale on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis, and without recourse or warranties of any kind.

Inspection & Quotations:

The vehicle can be viewed during working days of the FAO Offices; Ada Estado SIDA House H, Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road from 8^th September to 24^th September 2021 between 09:00 hrs to 15:00hrs.

Interested bidders must submit their selected bids, in an envelope clearly marked “Bid for Purchases of Vehicle”. Bids can be submitted by hand not later than 23th September 2021 to:
