PRE-QUALIFICATION TENDER NO: LTL/LBT/ NOV/2019/1120
FOR DATA CENTRE CO-LOCATION
Letshego Bank Tanzania and Letshego Tanzania Limited t/a Faidika are looking to host their Data Centres in a Co-Location facility within Dar es Salaam or its surroundings. in order to provide Primary Processing and Disaster Recovery capability for their Financial Services Operations. The requirements can be broadly described as follows:
· Co-Location Data Centre space for 2 x 42u Cabinet to host numerous Servers, Storage Arrays Firewalls and Switches.
· These Cabinets have to be located next to each other as intra Cabinet cabling from equipment to switch infrastructure is required.
· The ability for connectivity to ISP’ s that will supply connectivity for both entities, such connectivity must support redundant paths from outside the building into the Letshego cabinets
· The Cabinets must have 2 x fully resilient power distribution units installed with each cabinet with at least 20 power sockets for connecting the Letshego equipment for power supply
· The anticipated power/codling demands of each cabinet must be at a minimum of 2 2KW but the facility must support each cabinet to grow to 4KW per cabinet
· Letshego requires all facility to be available 24/7/365 and any downtime maintenance scheduled must be notified at least 10 working days ahead of such scheduled maintenance
· The Production and DR facilities must be a minimum of 5km (flight distance) apart, and should have independence on substation power grid supply
In the proposal responses, the following ls requested:
1 Costs of such hosting this should be indicated as per cabinet costs and total due
2 Minimum Contract period and preferred contract period
3. Connectivity to the internet as follows:
a) Production site Is 2 x 50Mb/s Active/Active links with each link have full redundancy onto under-sea cables
b) DR Site is 2 x 30Mb/s Active/Active links with each link have full redundancy onto under-sea cables
4. A Replication link between Production and DR of 50Mb/s
5. Each link service should be individually priced and underlying route to undersea cable should be clearly indicated In respect to ownership and route independence.

Letters from three previous clients of similar projects satisfactory executed, reference letter from bank. Three years’ company’s audited financial statements, duly stamped by a registered auditor and Insurance cover.
