The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. Each year, on average, WFP feeds more than 90 million people and it is present in 81 countries. WFP’s Country Office in Tanzania procures various goods and services for its operations.
The WFP intends to identify qualified & reliable suppliers for the above goods and services. Vendors with operations in the following locations, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Kigoma region, Ruvuma, Singida, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, Simiyu, Shinyanga, Mara & Kagera, Katavi, Rukwa, Iringa and, Mbeya are strongly encouraged to apply.
The supplier must be registered with the relevant authorities and have a legal authorization to provide this service in the country.
WFP hereby invite qualified suppliers to express ther interest by emailing [email protected], Subject Expression of interest Q3 2021 – Pre-Qualification of Goods & Services Suppliers until 27th August 2021, 17:00 hours (EAT time). The interested applicants will receive a form for preliminary vendor registration to be submitted until 31st August 2021. The Expression of Interest may be followed by an inspection of your facilities and equipment by WFP.
